Our Old Oak Tree
This art quilt commemorates a much loved maple tree that used to be growing in our front yard. Hand dyed fabric was cut and positioned around the painting of the tree. The 'frame' and painting were then sewn together. There is additional quilting on the piece to accentuate the design.
