#203, Denim Lapis Lazuli Gemstone Necklace & Earrings This lovely necklace is perfect for a sweater set or a boyfriend sweater over a simple scoop neck top or a lovely dress. The focal lapis piece is by Dean Crane of Two Cranes lapidary of New Mexico. Lapis Lazuli has bits of gold in it which is one of the reasons for it's higher cost as a gemstone. This piece has several veins of gold running through each side of the pieces surface. The Denim blue focal is positioned between soft blue Lapis Lazuli beads and Sterling Silver spacers and closure. A wonderful addition to a wardrobe. The necklace is also suitable for a man and is a color that would go with a number of men's shirts. I have designed a number of necklaces for my husband over the years which he regularly wears and I could see him easily wearing this one, but I don't think he has found it yet.... the earrings aren't his style!
The necklace is 17 inches or 43 cms long and the focal is .75 inches or 17mm long. The earrings are silver hoops with denim lapis lazuli beads and sterling silver spacers. They are 1 5/8's inches or 30mm long from the top of the circle to the bottom.
