#1053, Striking Rustic Blue Black & Turquoise toned Paleolithic inspired Ceramic Earrings. The Paleolithic Ceramic Charms are by Jill Stoffregen of Foxpaws Beads. Blue ceramic discs are by Georgia Neumann of At Home in Taos, and the lampwork glass is by Jody Brimhall of Inspire Glass. Black Annealed Steel Wire hold the elements together. Black Niobium earwires finish off these earrings & all materials are hypoallergenic.
WEIGHT & DIMENTIONS: Each earring is a medium weight of .2 ounce. One earring is 2.25 inches from the top of the body of the earring and is 2.75 inches from the top of the earwire in the earlobe. The other earring is 2.1 inches from the top of the body of the earring and is 2.5 inces from the top of the earwire in the earlobe. They are both about .75 inches at the widest point.
PERSONALIZING: You can choose a different pair of earwires from the Chart in the photo section and I can replace the ones on the earrings at no charge with the different pair of earwires. Just let me know what you want them changed to in the Shopping Cart's Notes section on the last page before you purchase them.
NIOBIUM METAL: The Niobium earwires are made in the USA by TierraCast. "Niobium is an elemental metal which is strong yet flexible. Niobium is chemically non-reactive, therefore very hypoallergenic. It can be transformed into brilliant colors through the anodizing process. The colors are created by refracted light, do not use paint or dye and do not negate the metal's hypoallergenic qualities." (From a shop where Niobium earwires can be purchased.)
PACKAGING & SHIPPING: Please note that at this time I am only selling to the United States and Canada due to the steep rise in mailing costs. Packaging & First Class Shipping are included in the price listed. Each earring is individually wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a jewelry box with padding below and above the earrings and then the box is wrapped with an appropriate ribbon. A Gift pair of earrings designed and made by me are added to the order and everything is then placed in a bubble wrapped padded water proof envelope.
Jewelry orders go to the post office within a day or two of my receiving the order. (Holidays or extreme weather conditions can unfortunately interfere with trips to the post office, but that rarely happens.)
LAST 3 PHOTOS: The last set of photos feature a chart showing the different earwire colors and metals. Also shown are my jewelry gift boxes with an example of colorful ribbon and a display of what has been on my design table in the past.
ONE OF A KIND JEWELRY: At this time there are only two collections where I have made several similar or the same jewelry as in the Ukraine Fund Raising Collection and the Blue & Green Sports Earrings Collection. Otherwise each piece of Chris Kaitlyn Jewelry is a one of a kind jewelry, (OOAK).
Chris Katilyn Jewelry is usually comprised of Artisan Designed enameled glass charms, lampwork glass beads, ceramic charms or beads, and pearls or semi prescious gemstones. The artisans whose pieces I have selected have taken great care in the design and production of their work and I in turn continue that tradition by designing and making beautiful & sturdy jewelry so they can be worn by you for years to come! I encourage you to continue that tradition of care and to treat Chris Kaitlyn Jewelry like Wearable Art by handeling your jewelry with care and by keeping the item(s) away from hair sprays, perfume, chemicals, soaps, water, etc.
If a mishap happens to your Chris Kaitlyn Jewelry, since each piece is one of a kind, I wont be able to replicate the damaged piece, but I encourage you to contact me by emailing me at schrokait@comcast.net, letting me know what happened, sending photos if possible, so I can determine if there is something that can be done to repair or replace the damaged piece.
COLORS OF PHOTO'D JEWELRY: Also note that due to the variance in computers, tablets, and cell phone screens I can not guarantee that the colors you see in the images are the same as the actual item.
PHOTOGRAPHY: All photos are by Chris Kaitlyn using a Cannon Rebel T1i with a 18-55mm lens in a small photo booth with professional lighting due to our inconsistent weather in the Pacific Northwest. I use a professional photography program to crop the display photos. When I incorporate a video of my jewelry I will have used the above Cannon Rebel or my Iphone 13 Xpro.
