Summer Wine Tasting

Steve & I went to the quarterly gathering of our Wine Tasting Group. We drank Grenache, a new red wine for our group. All the wines tasted Fabulous! Not a bad one in the lot! But one of the two that stole the show was Renegade-2012 by Slight of Hand vintner for $16 that a participant got at Fred Meyer. The other tie for first place was Zurba Cellars-2010 from Walla Walla, Washington that cost around $40. After sipping and eating inside, (we are incredible cooks,) to avoid the 90+ heat we moved outside to enjoy the hosts' fabulous garden and view of the Olympia area; coleus on their deck and a terrific view of the Capital of Washington state were the backdrop to the lovely evening! Hope you are having Fabulous Summer Evenings Too!
