MISSING ART QUILTS-OCT. 9-10, 2014

Hi, It's been a while since I last posted anything. I've been busy with a summer fine art & craft show in August, family gatherings, a fall stay vacation, and making lots of new work for the upcoming shows in November and December. Unfortunately two of my painted art quilts which had been hanging in my day jobs lobby were taken from the lobby during office hours in Olympia, Washington. The art quilts are painted with textile paint on white crepe. They are both over 36 X 36 inches. They are framed with either my hand dyed fabrics or commercially made batik fabrics or other commercial fabrics. On the backs of my quilts I iron on documentation that explains the concept of the piece, it's title, size, materials used, who made it and when, and a cute picture of myself as a 4-5 year old. (The picture still cracks me up seeing all that curly brown hair and freckles, now turned to grey!) These two painted quilts were removed by someone on either October 9 or 10th, 2014. A police report has been filed though I do not anticipate them being found by law enforcement as they wont be looking for them.  But I believe in karma and negative energy. So it is in the realm of possibility that the quilts will become too uncomfortable for the individual(s) to keep and they might turn up.   One could hope!
